Write a descriptive essay of an airplane (150 - 200 words). You have 20 minutes to do it. You can search the internet. Write it in a separate document and then copy and paste it here.
Remember to write down your surname and name.
I am going to talk about airbus airplane.
Firstly, airbus airplanes are used by private companies like Ryannair or Tuifly.
Secondly, this airplane has a big fuselage which is painted whith the logo of the company. Behind nose is cockpit where pilot makes the decisions whith rudder. Pilot has to control alierons and flaps, which are located in wings, vertical and horizonal stabilizer, which are in the tail, turbine engine and landing gear for the landing and take off. The airbus can travel long distances.
To sump up , airbus is a modern plane and it is full equip.
The Eurofighter
The Eurofighter is my favourite fighter plane. Since I was a child, I have dreamt of becoming an Eurofighter pilot. It is used in most of the European Royal Air Forces, and that´s because it´s extraordinary characteristics. Besides, it has two reactors, which make it able to achieve supersonic speed without using afterburners. Also the cabin and the wings have been made by using a combination of some of the most resistant and flexible fibers, so it can withstand more G forces. Furthermore, it´s new radar detects any plane or flying object farther than 500 kilometers. Inside the cabin, which has been designed by the most prepared engineers, there are four computers that calculate the route, the speed, the wind etc. This plane it such a modern one that it has countermeasures which function is to confuse the enemy´s radar, allowing the Eurofighter to fly in enemy´s territory without being in a great risk as the enemies can´t determine it´s position.
To sum up, the Eurofighter is an amazing aircraft and it´s going to be updated with new software in the next years, so it´s capacities will still improve.
Though there are a lot of type of planes; cargo, commercial, military... all of them are made of the same components.
First of all, the brain of the operations during the flight, the cockpit, where the pilot is; is located at the noise. Also, there is the landing gear, which is used during the landing and the take off.
In addition, elevators, rudder and ailerons are very important, their function is to rotate in all possible axes.
Above all, the fuel and motor are essential for the flight.
To sum up, an airplane is like a puzzle on a table; the table which holds each component is the fuselage and the pieces of the puzzle are the cockpit, the wings, the motor, the fuel, the flaps... all of them make the perfect composition for an airship.
An airplane is a type of vehicle that has the ability to
fly. They are made of metal and they are too heavy, but they have the power to
fly.
There are several types of airplanes, according to their
utility, such as fighters, used by the army, commercial airplanes, used by
passengers to travel, cargo airplanes, to transport materials, rescue airplanes
...
Almost all planes have the same parts, although some have
different parts more focused on their functions. In general, they all have a
cabin, where the pilot and copilot go, the fuselage that is the frame of the
plane, the wings, where the plane store the fuel, the engines, that give the
airplane the power to fly, the rudder, the landing gear, stabilizers ...
Not all planes use the same type of engines, some have
turbine engines, and others have propellers, but all are based on the same type
of operation.
In the army, the most used planes are fighters, because they
can reach high speeds and cargo planes, because they are able to transport
troops and materials to different missions.
Carolina Garoz San Juan
Airplanes, informally called "aeroplanes" or "planes" , are by far one of the most important inventions of the last two centuries. Since its creation in 1903, this extremely complex vehicle has been improving until the aeroplanes that we have nowadays, which are able to do things that we could not imagine only one century ago.
It is important to mention that the most relevant goal that an airplane must accomplish in order to be able to fly is to lift their own weight. ¿How is this possible? Airplanes are able to reach what I have just said because they have wings. When a plane flies, the enginee pushes the plane and trasmits speed, when the minimun speed is reached, the wings start to create the lift that the plane needs. Once that the plane is "flying", the pilot (located in the cockpit) controls it with different parts of the plane. The yaw is controlled with the rudder and the vertical stabilizer, the pitch is controlled with the elevator and the horizontal stabilizer and the roll is controlled with the alierons. Another important part is the fuselage, the main structure of the plain that hold things together.
Carlos CallejeroThe Pilatus PC 21 is a training aircraft designed to instruct future pilots in advanced aviation techniques. This plane is the one that will arrive at this academy to replace Casa C101.
The main characteristic is that the Pilatus has a very modern flight system that allows pilots to adapt to modern aircraft technologies when arriving at an operational unit, making easy the conversion process. This change of aircraft means that students are not instructed in a jet, as has been for 40 years, because the Pilatus is a turboprop aircraft. But I really think that it is not so bad, because this does not make it inferior on the way it can cover the capabilities of the C101 such as acrobatics, and also improve them with modern avionic systems.
Undoubtedly,
it is a great plane that will be very useful in the training of the future
pilots for the Spanish air force, and that will make these pilots better
prepared and ready to adapt to future weapons systems.
